Reykjavik City Sightseeing

Includes the most significant sites in Greater Reykjavik; The presidential residence at Bessastaðir and Hafnarfjörður where the “hidden people” and humans live together in harmony. In Reykjavik visits to "Perlan", Höfði house where the all-important summit between Ronald Reagan and General Mikhail Gorbachev took place in 1986, the Hallgrímskirkja church and the old town centre. Approx. 2½ hours,

Golden Circle Classic Tour

This full day excursion goes to one of Iceland’s most important attractions; The UNESCO Heritage Site Thingvellir National Park where the gathered for their "Althingí" from year 930 AD. The site is also a geologically remarkable site where one sees how the tectonic plate boundaries are drifting apart. The tour continues to the famous Gullfoss waterfall and to the spouting hot spring area at Geysir. On our way back to Reykjavik we stop at Skálholt church and the powerplant, Hellisheidavirkjun. Approx. 9 hours, DKK 475 including transfers from/to hotel.

Silver Circle

We go along the shores of Hvalfjörður and at the north, we visit the whaling station, still in operation. Further on to the Settlement Center in Borgarnes and on the way to Reykholt and the hot spring of Deildartunguhver we stop for lunch in Fossatún. We head over the second highest pass of Kaldidalur (cold valley) to the Langjökull glacier, with stop at Jaki for a walk along the glacier. Last stop before returning to Reykjavík is at Þingvellir National Park. Approx. 13 hours, DKK 1100.

Seljalandsfoss

 

South Coast and Thorsmörk

To the mountain heath Hellisheiði and along the south shore to Seljalandsfoss and into the highlands to Thorsmörk. The area is shielded by glaciers (e.g. Eyjafjalla that erupted in 2010) and mountains on three sides, giving a very mild climate. We cross un-bridged glacial rivers, that sometimes can be quite challenging to cross; luckily our drivers are acquainted with the area. On our way back we stop at the rugged gorge of Stakkholtsgjá for a 1 hour hike to the end of the gorge. Approx. 10 hours, DKK 975 incl. transfers from/to hotel. Operated on Tues-, Fri- and Sundays.

Visit the world famous Blue Lagoon and allow yourself a soothing and relaxing stay in the steaming turquoise pools. By coach from/to your hotel in Reykjavik with daily departures of own choice:

South through the countryside to into the highlands via Thórsárdalur Valley, with stop at Hjálparfoss waterfall. We reach the mountains surrounding the geothermal area Landmannalaugar with its amazing colours. Here you can enjoy a relaxing bath in a natural warm pool or hike at the rhyolite mountain paths. Back to Reykjavik we pass Iceland’s most famous volcano Hekla known for frequent eruptions in the past. Approx. 10 hours, DKK 975 incl. transfers from/to hotel. Mon-, Tues- and Saturdays.

Golden Circle & Glacier Adventure in Super Jeeps

Experience the Golden Circle Tour in 4x4 super jeeps designed to traverse off-road tracks and mountain roads combined with snowmobile ride at Langajökull Glacier (note: Driver of snowmobile must show valid drivers license). After this action-packed day we go by the greenhouse village in Hveragerdi back to Reykjavík. Approx 9 hours, DKK 1900 per person based on booking of minimum 2 persons. Includes a 1 hour snowmobile ride w 2 persons per snowmobile and transfers from/to hotel.

 

Whalewatching

 

Whale Watching from Reykjavik

We offer whale watching excursions out of Reykjavik all year round. However summer season is best for whale watching, as the wildlife in the bay is at its highest peak. This is the time when the minke whales are at their most abundant, along with the white-beaked dolphins, harbour porpoises and humpback whales, giving us the chance to enjoy and understand them in their natural environment. Duration approx. 3 hours, DKK 450 p.p. incl. access to the Whale Watching Centre.

 

Into the Glacier - the Man made Ice Cave at Langjökull

The man made ice tunnel and the caves are located on Europe‘s second largest glacier, Langjökull. Here you will get the opportunity to explore the glacier from the inside in the hidden beautiful ice and learn about the glacier, glacial exploration and of course global warming. The led lighted walls are sheer-carved and you will find chambers along cave rooms which is available for weddings, parties, meetings and events. Duration 9 hours, DKK 1.495 incl. transfer (hotel pick-up) and entrance to the cave.
